MCPF COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS GRANT PROGRAM

BUILDING TRUST.
​The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation (MCPF) believes that strong community partnerships should be a core principle in modern day policing practices.

Therefore, we are proud to offer grants to Minnesota police departments to help them advance community partnerships and deepen their trust with the public. This includes strong relationships with the business community, residents, youth and community organizations.

Community trust building programs require funding and resources that many police departments simply do not have. 

​MCPF is stepping in to fill that gap. With your support, MCPF will help local police departments engage through community relations projects, surveys, programs, and initiatives that build trust, transparency and strong relationships.

​In 2023, The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation is proud to have funded 29 community partnership projects, disbursing nearly $60,000 in grant funding.

2024 Grant Application Now Open!

The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation (MCPF) is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2024 Community Partnerships Grant Program, offering a total of $75,000 in funding.

This grant opportunity is specifically designed to empower law enforcement agencies in fostering trust and enhancing partnerships within their communities. The Community Partnerships Grants aim to support, supplement, initiate, and accelerate meaningful engagement efforts between police departments and the communities they serve.
